WWB Update 03-07-15 to 03-12-15

“I have never yet caught a fish on the first cast, nor have I ever made a first cast without thinking I would catch a fish!”

You might notice that the dates overlap a little , but I had pictures that came in that did not have a specific date on them so I placed them here.

We only have a one more day of fishing left before the Big Fish Dance. We had a couple of days with no boats out and a couple of days of fishing. We caught a few hatchery fish that resulted in another tie for “2nd Place Biggest Fish”. Congratulations “Anna Jean (AJ) Himes” for catching a 33.5″ keeper. The next couple days will finish up this tournament. I will be getting 2 more sets of catch records and we will tally up the winners and have them posted ASAP. Good Luck Ladies!

WWB Update 03-01-15 and 03-02-15

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime!”

The Hatchery fish have picked up over the last couple of days and the wild ones are still going strong. This year we would like to pay a special tribute to Vicki Stimpson who does not let her size or Multiple Sclerosis hold her back. Vicki has been fishing in the Tournament for years and has landed her share of fish, but it took a lot of determination and perspiration to land this amazing Wild Fish. You got it done girl! See you next year.

WWB Update 02-21-15

“I like my Deck Hands, like I like my fish, WILD”

We caught more keepers today than we have in the past few days. Hopefully this number will continue to grow. More hatchery fish means there is a bigger chance for the fish leaders to to get bumped off their thrones, and it happened again today. Congratulations to Theresa Dines who moved everyone down a notch as she moved into “1st Place Biggest Fish”, way to go Theresa. This is going to be a hard one to beat, Good Luck Ladies.
